The Sandy Bay Rowing Club was formed in 1906. Located in the Hobart suburb of Sandy Bay, it lies on the edge of the River Derwent, the waters flowing through the city on the way to the Southern Ocean. The Derwent River is ideal for rowing training with many of the southern Tasmanian clubs located on its shores. Our facilities include a boat shed, gymnasium and club rooms.
